With a career stretching for more than 30 years, Dee Bradley Baker is a renowned voice actor whose work is recognizable across genres.
Baker visits Grand Valley on November 8 to open the 2024-2025 Wheelhouse Talks and Frederik Meijer Lecture Series. Baker’s talk begins at 5 p.m. in the Grand River Room at the Kirkhof Center.
The Wheelhouse Talks and the Meijer Lecture Series bring professionals and leaders in their field to share their experience and expertise with the Grand Valley community.
Baker is most recognized for his work as Squilliam, Perch and Bubble Bass on “SpongeBob SquarePants,” Klaus on “American Dad,” Perry the Platypus on “Phineas and Ferb,” and “Star Wars: The Bad Batch.”
Baker gained national exposure for his work on the Nickelodeon game show, “Legends of the Hidden Temple,” in 1993. His first feature film was “Space Jam,” in 1996, where he voiced Daffy Duck and Taz.
His voice work has continued with shows “The Real Adventures of Jonny Quest,” “Johnny Bravo,” “Dexter’s Laboratory” and “The Powerpuff Girls.”
