GVSU students leading campaign to create healthy and safe campus culture

The Student Campus Culture work group has developed a peer-to-peer campaign to promote proper and frequent PPE usage, social distancing and hand washing to protect the overall health of the campus community. The group includes undergraduate, graduate, international and non-traditional students.

Incident Management Team update: New face covering toolkit, web-based self-assessment, virtual campus tours

Grand Valley has launched a new virtual campus tour that can be accessed using a mobile device.  VisiTOUR features a virtual tour guide who will lead guests through an on-campus visit using 360-degree images, videos, audio and text, to highlight each stop on the tour.

GVSU names first military and veteran resource manager

Jill Wolfe has been selected to serve as Grand Valley's first Military and Veteran Resource manager.  The new position was originally announced by President Philomena V. Mantella at the November 2019 Veterans Day Breakfast with the goal of providing additional support to military-connected students and dependents while expanding Grand Valley's visibility, partnerships and pipelines within the community.
