Automation is causing a delicate dilemma, business leaders say

Auto experts predict fewer drivers in the future
Imagine not wanting or needing to actually drive anywhere ý instead an autonomous vehicle can be scheduled to take you wherever you want to go. The use of autonomous vehicles was one topic discussed at the 19th West Michigan Automotive Suppliers Symposium, hosted by Grand Valley's Van Andel Global Trade Center. The event took place March 8 at the Pew Grand Rapids Campus with the theme, "Smart Moves: Tech, Tools, Talent."

Culture and Coffee: Navigating Germany
The Van Andel Global Trade Center at Grand Valley will host "Culture and Coffee: Navigating Germany" from 8-10 a.m., February 23 at the L. William Seidman Center. Germany has the third largest export economy in the world with its automotive industry alone generating $151 billion in exports in 2016, consisting of 21.8 percent of total car exports worldwide.
