Things to consider:

• Compare your new spouses benefits with your benefits so that you can make an informed decision on whose coverage will best suit your situation
• Notify the Benefits Office within 30 days of the date of marriage by logging into the eBenefits system.
  • Enroll spouse/dependents into GVSU Benefit Plans
  • Drop medical, dental, vision coverage
  • Increase Flex Spending Account

Divorce or Legal Separation

Things to consider:

• Notify the Benefits Office within 60 days of the date of Divorce or Legal Separation by logging into the eBenefits system.

  • Remove spouse/step-child(ren)
