Description

What is the Equinox / Mabon?

  • The Fall Equinox is a time when day and night are perfectly balanced, with day and night being in equal length.
  • Many Pagans and Wiccans celebrate the day as Mabon, when the summer comes to an end and the seasons shift.
  • During Mabon, many practitioners reflect on balance, gratitude, and the abundance of the harvest. Often, apples will be juiced for cider and grapes for wine.
