Hope Repertory Theatre, in partnership with the Big Bridge Theatre Consortium, will present a workshop reading of Havurah, a new interfaith play by Margot Connolly.
Short Synopsis: Havurah (loosely translated to “circle of friends”) explores interfaith tensions between a Jewish student group and a Christian student group on a college campus after a shooting incident at a local synagogue. When does activism harm more than heal, and how do we partner well with those who are hurting as we seek to create “a circle of friends?”
