Interfaith Masjid Visit

Description
The Padnos International Center and Kaufman Interfaith Institute have
organized a trip to the Islamic Mosque and Religious Institute in
Kentwood. We’re providing FREE transportation and FREE lunch to all
attendees. Students who attend will also have the option of earning
one hour of community service** There is a limited 14 spots in the
van, so please RSVP to Libby Jawish at [email protected].
Attendees must be enrolled as a student at GVSU!
Here is the order of events:
- Departing from 130 Lake Ontario Hall at 12:30pm sharp
- Arrive at Masjid at 1:00pm
- Tour of Masjid 1-1:30pm
- Observing prayer 1:30-2:15/2:30pm
- Late lunch at 2:30pm catered by Le Kabob
- **One hour of service at the Masjid (consists of organizing food pantry)
- Free time at the international market next door (Super Green Market)
- Return to GVSU by 4:30
