Building Community Through Dialogue

Our special guest, Chief of Police Greg Mullen, associate vice president of public safety and chief of police at Clemson University, and former Charleston, SC police chief, led dialogue efforts after the June 17, 2015, mass shooting at the Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church. Chief Mullen will share his wisdom around building community/police relationships and trust through dialogue. Rodney Robinson with Spectrum Health's Healthier Communities will moderate and a group of community leaders will join for a reflective panel discussion and questions from the audience. Mayor Rosalynn Bliss will welcome attendees with a 6:00 p.m. start.
