Getting involved in student organizations, such as academic, social, cultural, and service and advocacy groups, offer numerous benefits for students. Organizations provide a space to explore interests, talents, and passions, as well as develop a well-rounded skillset necessary for future endeavors. They can also provide a sense of community and belonging with opportunities to form friendships, build networks, and develop valuable social connections. With additional opportunitites for learninr experiences, student organizations are a great way of enriching your college experience and enhancing your personal growth.


Kirkhof College of Nursing Student Organization

Pre-Nursing Association (PNA)

Organization for students who have not yet been admitted into the nursing program but desire to learn more about the field, develop leadership skills, get involved on campus, and connect with other students with similar interests.

Student Nurses Association (SNA)

Dedicated to empowering future nurses through student assistance and service at the local, state, national, and global levels. 

Multicultural Student Nurses Organization (MSNO)

Dedicated to improving the experiences of students of color, within the college, by fostering preparedness in both the educational and professional realms of practice. 

KCON Graduate Student Organization (GSO)

Activities include professional development, volunteer, and networking opportunities to engage with fellow nursing graduate students and to support the local community. 

KCON Chapter of Michigan Council of Nurse Practitioners (MICNP)

The purpose of the MICNP organization is to improve the nurse practitioner practice environment through education, advocacy, and engagement of its members.

Sigma Theta Tau International

International honor society of nursing with over 135,000 members in more than 90 countries worldwide.
