Zine 101 Workshop

The Libraries are hosting a series of Zine Workshops at the Pew Grand Rapids Campus downtown! A zine (pronounced ZEEN) is a self-published, original work. Unlike a magazine, a zine is usually produced by one or a few people, and has a small circulation. Zines are easy and fun to create!
Join Mary Ruge, Librarian for English and Writing, to learn more about zines. Bring your idea to zine and we will provide the supplies and support to get you started in creating.
Here are a few ideas of what you can create a zine about:
- A time in your life
- Family history
- Something you're passionate about
- Your art
- So much more!!!
You don't need to register to attend, but it is helpful for knowing how many supplies to bring. Hope to see you there working on your zines in DeVos Building A Room 127.
