Tools to Help You Work

Did you know the library has more than books? If you spend time studying in any of our locations, you can check out all sorts of things to help with your work!
Focus and Study Tools
We have study aids and focus tools available for loan at all our locations. Stress balls, fidgets, and weighted lap pads can help you focus. Study aids like tinted rulers, whiteboards, and LCD writing tablets help you do better work!
Laptops and Chargers
You can borrow a laptop from the IT Service Desk in the Mary Idema Pew library. Downtown? Stop by the service desk in the Steelcase library or the Frey Foundation Learning Commons to borrow one. You can check out a laptop for 4 hours and can even take it out of the library. Laptop chargers for Macs and PCs, as well as common phone chargers, are also available.
Calculators
You can borrow both standard and graphing calculators!
Skeletons and Anatomical Models
Need to get up close to a 3D anatomical model? We have you covered! Check out skeletons and other anatomical modelsin Allendale or Downtown.
Plants!
Want to spruce up your study space? Check out a small potted plant to study with while at the Mary Idema Pew or Steelcase Libraries.
