The University Libraries has a rich collection of online information resources to support your research, including thousands of e-journals and hundreds of article databases. You can access any of these information resources by logging in with your GVSU username and password.

Library Search Privacy Notice

Our Library Search provider, EBSCO, periodically requests permission to store some user data (such as your GVSU username) in order to allow full functionality of our software. This is in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You do not have to allow them to store this data, but you will not be able to request books, place holds, or use any features of your library account online that require personalization. Report a Problem

Having technical problems using the University Libraries' website? You can chat with us or Report the Problem directly to our technical experts. Remember to provide as much detail as possible.

Need Adobe software?

If you need Adobe software for one of your courses, email [email protected] with your first and last name, GVSU email, and the course you need the software for. Once approved, you will have access through the end of the semester.

Need help with other software?

IT Services can provide general help with Blackboard, Collaborate, Ally, Panopto, and Respondus LockDown Browser/Monitor.



Resources for Faculty

You do not need VPN (Pulse Secure) for accessing library resources. You will be asked to log in with your GVSU username and password when using library databases. Please keep the VPN system open for those working from home that need to use it.

Moving your course online involves more than choosing the right technology tools. GVSU's eLearning group has your covered with resources and support as you transition to online teaching.

The University Libraries has online tutorials to help students navigation scholarly research. You can embed these in Blackboard, or coordinate with your liaison librarian to work them into library instruction.
