Courtney continued her education after her undergraduate degree and earned a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Grand Valley in August 2018. Currently, she is a traveling physical therapist and recently had a 3-month contract in Yuma, Arizona which is just north of the US-Mexico border. Courtney had the opportunity to treat Spanish-speaking patients in a completely Spanish-speaking clinic (therapists, receptionists, and other staff included) that would otherwise not have access to physical therapy care. She looks forward to more contracts in areas with Spanish-speaking patients so she can connect with different cultures and provide accessible care to those in need.
