Molly graduated with her MEd from Lipscomb University in 2016 and is currently pursuing her doctorate in ESL and bilingual education. Her goal is to start a bilingual high school for Spanish-speaking students. After studying abroad in Argentina during her time at GVSU, she learned the importance of traveling and she continues to travel around the Spanish-speaking world to get to know where her students come from and perfect her Spanish. She most recently spent last summer in Venezuela and has been instrumental in providing school support for undocumented and asylum seeking students from Central and South America. She attributes her experience at Grand Valley as being instrumental in developing her passion for helping immigrant students and being a spokesperson for the global communities, especially those who don't have a voice.
