Founded in 2015, Warrior Rising is a non-profit organization created by veterans for veterans. Its mission is clear: transform veterans into vetrepreneurs. Our Impact

Since its inception, Warrior Rising has evolved from a regional initiative into a national powerhouse renowned for its sophisticated programs and expansive outreach. Utilizing remote learning, a network of dedicated mentors and coaches, and generous grants, Warrior Rising is on track to create 100 veteran-owned million-dollar businesses by 2024. The team at Warrior Rising listens to veterans and delivers exactly what they need, ensuring they have the opportunity to achieve long-term success, not just one good day but one good life.

Topics include business plan development, financial management, marketing strategies, and legal considerations, all tailored to veteran-owned businesses' specific needs and circumstances.

Empowering Education Through CEI: Warrior University is further strengthened by its partnership with The Richard M. and Helen DeVos Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation (CEI) in the Seidman College of Business at GVSU. CEI is dedicated to developing best practices in entrepreneurship education and community engagement that enhance and impact the creation of new ventures and opportunities. This collaboration ensures that Warrior University participants receive cutting-edge entrepreneurial education and access to a network of resources and support essential for launching and growing successful businesses.

Eligibility and Enrollment: To join our upcoming cohort starting June 3rd, you must first complete Warrior Academy®. After completing Warrior Academy, all registered veterans and spouses can participate on-demand, with 100 virtual-live seats available for students in Michigan.
