Centering the experiences of women identified students of color

The NIARA (knee-r-ruh) program is designed to increase a sense of community and belonging, centering the experiences of those that identify as women of color (WOC).  Our vision is to create opportunities for WOC to be seen and excel academically, socially, and culturally. This program was initiated by students for students.

Monthly engagement opportunities are scheduled to allow students to come together for guided discussions, seek feedback and demonstrate a community collective supporting each other. (INT) 100/201 approved

While NIARA may operate a little bit differently this fall, the dedication to our students remains top priority.

NIARA means one with high purpose...Join us and begin the journey to find your purpose.

NIARA meetings are open to all students and no RSVP is required!
