Help Fostering Laker Success spread a little bit of joy over the holiday break.
The National Day of Giving Tuesday is Dec. 3, 2024.
FLS has two ways that you can give
1) Go to the GVSU Fostering Laker Success website and donate to Fostering Laker Success Fund is located at the bottom of the page. Currently, donors have to select Fostering Laker Success fund when making the donation from this site https://www.gvsu.edu/giving/give-now-752.htm . Our Goal is 2500!
Giving to the Fostering Laker Success Fund allows us to provide assistance with: Event Outings, Food, Clothing, Bedding, Towels, Toiletries, Graduation Cap and Gown, Textbooks, Healthcare costs, Childcare expenses, Automobile repair and Rent Assistance
2) Support our Holiday Stocking Care Packages
We will be collecting items until Dec. 3, 2024 . Items can be dropped off to Brandy Thompson in Center For Women Gender Equity 1201 Kirkhof
Holiday Care Packages: We currently have 32 participants that can use your support !
Winter: Hats, scarves, gloves (blue, gray, black Unisex) and socks ( black, gray, white)
Toiletries: Chapstick, Travel lotions, Travel tissue packs, Travel hand sanitizer, Handwarmer, Toothpaste (Sensitive and Regular), Toothbrush, Bar Body Soap (Ivory and Dove Sensitive)
Gift cards: $25 Gift Cards (Target or Meijer or Walmart )
Treats: Hot Coco, Tea, Candy Canes, Chocolates, Gummies, Popcorn, Chips, Cookies
Card Game: Uno, Deck of playing Card, Phase 10
