If you know of a student at GVSU who you feel you would be good candidate for this award, we encourage you to nominate the student via email to Dr. Amanda Dillard of the Psychology Department Awards Committee at [email protected].

Nominations can be submitted by both faculty and staff, as well as by fellow students.  When submitting a nomination, be sure to provide the student’s full name, their GVSU email address (if known), and a couple of sentences summarizing why you think they should be considered for the award.  You should also indicate whether or not you would be willing to let us share your identity with the student you have nominated.

Once we have received a nomination, we will verify that the student meets the eligibility criteria for the award.  If they satisfy these requirements, we will reach out to the student and invite them to complete and submit an application.

The deadline for submitting nominations for the 2023-2024 Robert Hendersen Leadership Award is Friday, December 8 at midnight.  We request that you nominate only one student for this award during any academic year.
