Diplomas are mailed after students have been cleared by their major department and the degree has been posted to their transcript. This generally occurs within thirty days following commencement, but may take longer in some cases. Note, diploma covers are handed out at the commencement ceremonies. Students who do not attend a ceremony will not receive a diploma cover, but can contact [email protected] to request one.

In all instances, the awarding of degrees is subject to the completion of degree requirements.

Diplomas are mailed to the address requested on the graduation application.

Diploma content: Student's name, Degree, and Date of Graduation. Note: Majors, minors, and concentrations do not appear on the diploma.

Diploma Sizes (L x H) (Fall 2016 and newer)
Bachelor diplomas are 10" x 8"
Master diplomas and certificates are 11" x 8.5"
Doctoral diplomas are 14" x 11"

Master diplomas and certificates are 10" x 8"
