GVSU mourns loss of Natalia Gomez

Dr. Natalia Gomez, professor in Modern Language & Literature, passed away October 8th after battling with cancer. She was 50. Gomez joined Grand Valley's Faculty in August 2000.
There will be a celebration of Natalia’s life taking place on Friday, October 14 from 5-7:30 p.m. at Gilda’s Club of Grand Rapids (1806 Bridge Street NW Grand Rapids). For those able to attend, you are encouraged to bring a dish to pass, a story to share and an instrument to play (for those among us who are musically inclined).
