GVSU Mourns the Loss of Walter Foote

Walter Foote, a GVSU retiree, passed away on 8/25/21. Walter retired in 1998 and was last an Associate Professor in the English Department. During his time at GVSU, Walter proposed and opened the CAS Writing Tutorial Center in 1979, which is now widely-known as Writing Center. Walter was given Emeritus status on December 1, 1998.
