Super STAT-urday was a one-day camp program designed to introduce students currently in grades 6^th through 8^th to the power of statistics and its applications to various fields to celebrate the International Year of Statistics.  During Super STAT-urday, students rotated in groups through fun and engaging activities facilitated by Grand Valley faculty.  For instance, participants learned how statistics are used to help make data-based decisions within disciplines such as chemistry, biology, geography, and many more!

The camp was held at GVSU’s Allendale Campus and took place on Saturday, November 9^th, 2013 from 8:30 am – 3:30 p.m.  The cost of the camp was $10 and included a t-shirt, lunch, and snacks.
