North Stars: "GVSU Students' NASA Experience"

In Fall 2016, a team of seven GVSU students called the GVSU North Stars entered NASA’s MicroG-NExT competition with a design for a surface sampling device. The MicroG-NExT competition is a national competition with multiple rounds, and the the North Star’s prototype was ultimately selected to be built and tested at NASA’s Johnson Space Center (in Houston, Texas) in 2017. Members of the team will discuss their experience with the competition and with working at NASA and will answer questions from the audience.
