Thompson Scholars Days of Service
What are Thompson Scholars Days of Service?
Thompson Scholars Days of Service are opportunities for students that are current Thompson Scholars to participate in community service. These days of service will include on-campus events and off-campus opportunities.
A Thompson Scholar is a student who receives one of the following scholarships:
- The Thompson University Preparatory Academy Scholarship
- The Thompson Working Families Scholarship
- The Thompson Working Families Achiever Scholarship
- The Thompson Working Families Transfer Student Scholarship
Thompson Scholars Days of Service Projects
Projects may include:
- Decorating paper bags for Kids Food Basket
- Upcycling t-shirts into dog toys for the Humane Society
- Making cards for children in the hospital, seniors, and soldiers
- Making Bravery Bracelets for the Children's Advocacy Center
- Affirmation bookmarks for SLD Read
- Teacher appreciation cards
- Positivity Pebbles for Blandford Nature Center
