Prof. Laurel Westbrook Elected as American Sociological Association (ASA) Secretary-Treasurer-Elect
Laurel Westbrook, Professor of Sociology, has been elected as Secretary-Treasurer of the American Sociological Association (ASA). They will serve as Secretary-Treasurer-Elect starting September 2024, then a three-year term as Secretary-Treasurer starting September 2025. Their duties include managing the budget for ASA, serving on Council and the Executive Committee, chairing the Finance Committee, and serving on the Publications Committee and Program Committee for ASA.
