ACADEMIC ADVICE
FIRST YEAR AND SOPHOMORE STUDENTS
- The earliest you can go abroad is the summer of your first year.
- Students may fulfill General Education Foundation and Issues requirements abroad.
- Students taking at least 3 credits abroad will fulfill their Global Perspectives requirement.
GENERAL ADVICE
- Students may take courses that satisfy some requirements in their Cyber Security major or the General Education program. Be sure to begin planning at least six months in advance.
- Students do not need to speak a foreign language in order to study in a country where English is not the official language. Take advantage of your newly honed language skills and seize the opportunity to do an internship at a company or cultural organization at the end of your time abroad.
- Courses should explore issues of cyber security, software product development, IT networking, telecommunications, web development, and CRM systems.
