ACADEMIC ADVICE

FIRST YEAR AND SOPHOMORE STUDENTS

The earliest you can go abroad is the summer of your first year.
Students may fulfill General Education Foundation and Issues requirements abroad.
Students taking at least 3 credits abroad will fulfill their Global Perspectives requirement.

GENERAL ADVICE

Students may take courses that satisfy some requirements in their Dance major or the General Education program. Be sure to begin planning at least six months in advance.
Students do not need to speak a foreign language in order to study in a country where English is not the official language. Take advantage of your newly honed language skills and seize the opportunity to do an internship at a company or cultural organization at the end of your time abroad.
Students should be working with their faculty mentor to plan and make appropriate course selections for study abroad.
