and resources at this annual conference and networking event. Register

May 9: Integr8 – The Industry 4.0 Conference
Automation Alley presents this one-day conference which focuses
on a software-first approach to advanced manufacturing that promotes
agility, resiliency, and efficiency. Join 1,000 technology and
manufacturing professionals from across our region, nation, and globe
for a smart technology exhibition, 3D printer pitch competition,
keynote presentation, roundtables, and so much more.
July 12-13: Vehicle and Transportation Technology Innovation Meetings
Vehicle and Transportation Technology Innovation Meetings, or VTM
Michigan, is a mobility technology event that will bring the vehicle
and transportation community together in one venue, right here in
Novi, Michigan. This is a chance to meet with global automotive and
mobility leaders during Michigan’s first-ever international B2B forum
on innovations in mobility. The event will feature a full schedule of
technical and technology presentations and a matchmaking program for
attendees to secure pre-arranged meetings. Early registration is encouraged.
August 6-15: Mission to South Africa, Ghana, and Nigeria
Join the Commerce Department's U.S. Commercial Service and its
Global Diversity Export Initiative for an executive-led Trade Mission

MEDC is planning an upcoming trade mission to MEDICA, the world’s largest medical trade show, November 12-18.
At the trade show, MEDC will host a Michigan Pavilion equipped for 10 companies to exhibit their products and services in front of interested buyers and partners in the devices, imaging, and diagnostics hall. Leverage this platform at the world’s largest medical trade show to connect with opportunities worldwide and experience tomorrow’s healthcare market today.
To increase the number of successful meetings you have at the show, MEDC includes with the trade mission full-service B2B outreach, which involves:
- Kick-off call to understand your export and market-entry strategies and trade show objectives.
- Assistance in building a LinkedIn profile that sells, as well as a German-based B2B profile on ‘XING’, an SME business community that is popular in Germany.
- Development of concise and compelling key messaging in German to connect to your customized leads, as well as support on MEDICA’s proprietary B2B platform.
- Full-service management of your profile while lead generation experts pitch to your target decision-makers, vetting buyers, partners, and distributors for you to meet with at MEDICA.

The State International Development Organizations (SIDO) group is leading efforts to reauthorize the State Trade Expansion Program (STEP) and other trade promotion services utilized by small businesses like yours. Join the SIDO STEP coalition to strengthen the voice of small Michigan businesses in D.C., communicate the importance of STEP and trade programs to your business, and participate in Congressional hearings advocating for STEP funding allocations.

MI-STEP eligibility now includes EXIM Bank export credit insurance premiums for reimbursement of up to 75 percent. Credit insurance reduces nonpayment risk, extends credit to international buyers, and provides access to working capital. Through MI-STEP grants, companies can now work with EXIM Bank to insure export sales while reducing the out-of-pocket cost of insurance premiums.
