BIOGRAPHY
Paige Young is a teacher of both Photography and Foundation Studio Art courses within the Department of Visual and Media Arts Program. She has a bachelor's degree in both Advertising and Photography, with an associate in Business, from Grand Valley State University, A Master of Fine Arts with an emphasis in Photography, and a Master of Visual and Critical Studies from Kendall College of Art and Design. She has taught higher and lower-level courses at GVSU, MSU, KCAD, and GRCC for almost ten years. For the past 12 years, Paige has run “Apaige Photography,” specializing in wedding and engagement photography, as well as portrait, family, and commercial artwork. Recently, she has shifted focus towards education and fine art, exhibiting her pieces across the country. Her work explores themes of body concepts, grief, healing, time, and mental illness. In her free time, she enjoys creating visual representations of Taylor Swift's albums and songs.
