4:00 – 5:00PM Alumni Panel
The Alumni Panel will feature presentations from WGS alumni sharing their experiences “from WGS to the present.” Panelists include: Kristen J. Cuhran Fuller (Class of 1997) from Fair Housing Center of Southeast and Mid Michigan, Dani Vilella (Class of 2007) from Planned Parenthood Centers of West Michigan, Jazz McKinney (Class of 2009) from YWCA West Central Michigan, and Erika Van Dyke (Class of 2011) from Grand Rapids Community Foundation. This event is co-sponsored by Brooks College Office of Integrative Learning and Advising.

Network and enjoy refreshments and a slideshow highlighting the history of Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at GVSU.
5:30 – 7:00 PM Anniversary Keynote Address
Join WGS as we commemorate anniversary milestones and welcome keynote speaker, Dr. Mel Michelle Lewis, Associate Professor and Director of The Center for Geographies of Justice: “Liberatory Praxis in Action.” Read Dr. Lewis' complete bio here.
Parking near Loosemore Auditorium is available in the Seward Parking Ramp, which is accessible from Fulton or Lake Michigan Drive. Please stop by the booth when entering the parking lot and ask the attendant for a guest pass to display in your car.
