Aiman Wesley Mueller teaches first year writing, including sections paired with digital studies via a First-Year Learning Community. He enjoys creative nonfiction as an approach to grappling with life’s seeming contradictions and occasionally shares work via blogs or places like The MockingOwl Roost. Similarly, Aiman’s classroom assignments position students close to their own experiences and privy to support bold and authentic young voices. Aiman’s own background is rangy, from physics to linguistics, so he enjoys connecting with students from across the majors.
