Amy Norkus teaches courses in first-year writing, creative writing, and style. Her poems (under pen name Amy McInnis) have been published in CutBank, Mid-American Review, Here: Women Writing on Michigan's Upper Peninsula, and elsewhere. She is the author of Cut River (Logan House Press, 2007). She grew up in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, and in her spare time she enjoys running, puzzles, learning guitar, and walking in the woods trying to mimic bird calls.
