Anchored in Poetry is GVSU's slam poetry club. Anyone can join the club at any time. In January club members usually audition to be on the slam poetry team to compete annually at College Union Poetry Slam Invitational (CUPSI), a national competition for college slam poetry teams. Anchored in Poetry meets weekly to share poems and do writing prompts.
