April Williams currently teaches first-year writing courses at GVSU. April earned her undergraduate degree in English with a focus in literature from Western Michigan University. She later earned her Masters in English, also with a focus in literature from Southern New Hampshire University. During her time of studies, April developed a strong passion for the written language which encouraged her to write her own work. April took her passion for English and writing to publish a faith based, inspirational book called More Than Enough. These same passions have helped to develop her current love for teaching writing here at Grand Valley.
