Kim Kelley-Lafata has taught primarily first-year writing, in its many forms, since the turn of the century. She loves having the time to work with students developing their academic voice early in their college career. She spent her own early college career at Hope College, where she found her way into an English major and French minor. When not in class, you may find Kim reading, walking, gardening, enjoying a good cup of tea, or spending time with her son or pets. A native of Dearborn, Michigan (the home of Henry Ford), she finds excuses to travel “home” and visit museums, shop, and check in on family and friends.
