Kristin E. Graef has taught first-year writing for over thirty years, as well as a course at Aquinas College called Western Humanities, a required two-semester Gen Ed course for all second-year students. Her undergrad work at Wittenberg University focused on the works of T.S. Eliot. Her Master's work at Ball State examined themes in Victorian literature. Kristin has taken part in ACT preparatory workshops in Grand Rapids, privately tutored students for SAT and ACT preparation, and acted as consultant and narrator for the online Writers' Alley Interactive Writing Tutorial, created by Dr Lisa McNeilley. She has been Summer Program Director for Lake Michigan Academy in Grand Rapids, and she was a reader, proofreader, and featured writer in ArtPrize's Anthology Imagine This!, created by Dr. Lisa McNeilley. Kristin’s poetry has won competitions, been published in literary magazines, and recited publicly in both the US and the UK.
