Nancy Bell teaches first-year writing at GVSU and enjoys being with the students and helping them find some confidence in their writing. Prior to this, she had experience teaching English at the secondary level in both Utah and Florida, scoring essays online for the TOEFL exam, and teaching first year writing for Davenport University. Her master’s degree and thesis focused on British Literature. She loves all the seasons of Michigan and being near city, farms, orchards, and lakes. In her free time, she loves hiking, biking, and reading.
