The Organization for Professional Writers was founded in 2012 in an effort to create a community for professional writers at Grand Valley State University. The purpose of this community is to provide resources to support students' transition into the professional world. The organization sponsors different events (Internship Night, panels of professional writers) and helps students connect with members of the advisory board.
