The Wordsmiths is a Writing Department club full of dedicated Grand Valley State University student writers. Offering students the opportunity to exercise, promote, and explore creative expression through the written word in any form, we strive to create a supportive community for writers of all majors to connect and share their work. Please join us if you enjoy poetry, screenplays, manuscripts, worldbuilding, fiction or nonfiction, short stories, or any form of creative writing. We offer friendly monthly writing competitions where winners are published on our website as well as in our annual book. At the end of the school year, we release the GVSU publication Running Out of Ink.
