Admissions Requirements
High School Students: The general standard is a minimum 3.5 GPA and ACT score of 28, though other factors (such as quality of essay, paper sample, and honors/leadership activities) will be considered for entrance.
Transfer Students: 3.5 college GPA
You must be admitted to Grand Valley prior to applying to the Frederik Meijer Honors College.
Engineering Majors:
In addition to completing the Frederik Meijer Honors College application, Engineering students must contact an advisor in the Engineering department before orientation and registration. This program requires a special track in the Meijer Honors College. To schedule an appointment with an Engineering advisor, call (616) 331-6750.
Pre-Health Majors:
Students should check regularly with their advisor.
