Dan Banks is one of our Talent Acquisition Specialists. His primary duty is to design, implement, and execute robust, innovative, and university-specific recruiting strategies to attract and hire top talent and meet hiring goals. This includes assisting with and coordination of all steps for the recruitment process, utilizing feedback from hiring departments to develop a firm understanding of department cultures and position requirements (i.e., skills and background required for positions and programs). The main focus for 2023 is Workday implementation and developing a cutting-edge Talent Acquisition strategy for the university to utilize in 2024.

Dan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in human resource management from Grand Valley State University. In his spare time, he enjoys attending his children’s athletic events, helping to coach, and being outside whenever he can with his family.
