Welcome back to school! Hope everyone had a fun and safe summer!
Who We Are
Grand Valley State University's (GVSU) Student Chapter of the American Society of Safety Engineers is stationed on the campus of GVSU at the Cook-DeVos Center for the Health Sciences, Downtown Grand Rapids. Our student section is comprised of members, who participate in meetings and other various safety and health related activities. The meetings generally are held on a monthly basis, in which a wide range of topics are covered that better prepare its' members to become more competent about the safety profession. We encourage guests to come to our meetings and join our group!
Mission Statement
The mission of the American Society of Safety Engineers is to foster the technical, scientific, managerial and ethical knowledge, skills and competency of safety, health and environmental professionals for the protection of people, property and the environment and to enhance the status and promote the advancement of the safety profession.
