The program prepares graduates for careers in science or health-related fields, research and teaching at the community college level. Additionally, the program prepares students for post graduate studies in medical or dental school, as well as doctoral programs.

Application Deadline

Both emphases may begin in the fall semester with an application deadline of April 1. The general studies emphasis may also begin in the winter semester with an application deadline of November 1. The $30 nonrefundable application fee is waived if the applicant has previously applied to GVSU.
