| Coursework |
Students may choose four courses to dual-count toward the B.S. and M.S. degrees, up to 12 credit hours total. Students are encouraged to work with the graduate program director and their advisor to ensure all requirements are met.
Registration for 600-level courses is to occur only after acceptance into the combined degree program.

Master's level biostatisticians are in demand in industry, research institutions, government, and academia, including consulting, epidemiology, clinical medicine, health analytics, hospital research, environmental and public health.

Graduates can find employment in clinical client and patient care, public health programs, food management positions, health clubs, fitness centers, grocery store chains, corporate wellness programs, and food companies. Nationally, the Bureau of Labor Statistics has predicted a 13% employment growth between 2014 and 2024 for employment in this field.
