Chase joined the AEP in spring, 2012 and worked with Dr. Hollister for three semesters, including one field season in Alaska. Chase's primary responsibilities with the AEP were collecting field measurements and presenting at several undergraduate research conferences, including the Van Andel Research Institute.

Chase graduated from GVSU in 2013 with a BS in Biology. Chase plans to earn a Master's degree in plant biology.
