Jacob worked mainly in Utqiaġvik during the 2015 field season. For his research project he examined the changes in plant cover that occurred over time on the Utqiagvik ARCSS grid using GIS. Jacob graduated from GVSU in May of 2017. Jacob is interested in sustainable development and environmental planning.
