Jean graduated from GVSU with a bachelor's degree in Biology with an emphasis in Wildlife Biology. She joined the AEP in the summer of 2008. During the summer field season her primary responsibilities were maintaining and collecting measures from the Utqiaġvik Dry Site. She has also worked to collect, identify, and display plant and insect specimens from the study sites and surrounding areas. She hopes to work in research and may pursue a graduate degree in conservation biology.
