Jeremy graduated with his Masters degree in Biology from GVSU in 2011 after spending four years with the AEP. During his time with the AEP he studied plant community responses to warming. He published several papers including one as first author. He went on to complete a Ph.D. at Florida International University working with Steve Oberbauer on plant communities in the Florida Everglades. He is currently working in the Arctic again overseeing Steve Oberbauer's research. He hopes to continue research and teaching at the university level.
