Justin is currently a graduate student, he is doing a project focused on explaining science to non-scientist through photography. 

Justin joined the AEP in the spring of 2022. He graduated in April of the same year with a bachelor’s degree in Biology and a minor in anthropology. During the summer, he worked collecting data at the Atqasuk wet site.

Justin is interested in plant-fungal interactions, community ecology, ethnobotany, and the connections between art and the sciences.

In his free time, Justin enjoys fishing, reading old books, and all things­ photography related.
