Sheila worked mainly in Atqasuk during the 2015 field season assisting with site management, data collection and plant measurements. For her independent research project she examined the phenological response of Cassiope tetragona to warming.

Sheila graduated from GVSU in May of 2016. Sheila would like to attend graduate school with a focus on environmental policy and habitat restoration and conservation.
